Blog started using a larger ping list, in 2017. It has increased my traffic volume by 30%, according to my web stats. It has also, made a remarkable improvement in my Alexa ranking, as well. I encourage you to check it over, and add it to your current ping list. You can download the list of RSS aggregators, with the link, provided towards the bottom of this post.

Most people don’t understand the power of RSS. Furthermore, if you’re not using RSS feeds, you are missing out on a golden opportunity. RSS will improve your search engines rankings, and make you some powerful backlinks. Therefore, don’t miss out on this extremely easy method of boosting the amount of traffic your site receives.

I also recommend that you use the MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer plugin in conjunction with the ping list checker plugin. These two plugins work well together, and will help to prevent you, being banned from the RSS aggregators!

Pingomatic, does notify some of these RSS aggregators, by default. However, since you aren’t pinging those services directly, there shouldn’t be any problems of being banned. I have been using these services, for at least two months and haven’t encountered any problems! If you have any doubts, I strongly recommend that you visit the Pingomatic website. You’ll be able to see what services they notify, and you can choose to remove them.
