Extending your coverage to get more web traffic!
These days, big ping lists are becoming very popular among WordPress bloggers. It is believed that the bigger your ping list is, the better chance you have in achieving higher rankings in the search engines. people are in search of the perfect WordPress ping list that will deliver the magic touch!
There is a very cool feature that is built in WordPress. It is the Update Services, which allow you to notify the sites in your ping list as you publish new content on your blog.
1. Open your WordPress Admin panel.
2. Click on the setting tab.
3. Click on writing.
4. Next, find the Update Services.
5. Just add your list in the box and save your changes.
The following ping list contains a large number of sites that you can ping when you update your blog content. However, I strongly suggest that you always look over ping lists to make sure there aren’t any duplicates.
If your list contains duplicates, you could get listed as a spammer. Please download my ping list checker plugin for WordPress. It will find duplicates and list them, then tell you how many times they were found.
Here is a ping list of services that you could try for WordPress:

*** Word of caution:
WordPress by default uses the Pingomatic service. It pings some of the sites that are in this list and other lists that you find on the Internet. I believe the problem with ping spamming is when you have duplicated URLs in your ping list.
Another plugin that is greatly needed, is the MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer.
This is because, every time you edit/update a post, WordPress by default will ping the update services. this plugin, won’t let that happen, and you won’t get flagged as a spammer!
This plugin will also tell you which ping services were successful and which ones failed. There isn’t any sense to keep the services that fail in the ping list. you should remove the ones that continually fail.
Here is my current WordPress ping list for this blog:
