Modern Websites, or Blogs

Biggest Advantage, of Most Modern Websites, or Blogs

The biggest advantage of being able to edit , or update, your website, or blog, is that you can, add new content, at anytime. It’s about having the flexibility, of editing your articles, and images, from anywhere, with an Internet connection.

Most modern websites and blogs, are now built on a Joomla, WordPress, or Drupal, Content Management Framework. This gives you, the website owner, full access to your website content.

Your website content needs to be fresh, and up to date at all times. You can save a lot of money, by updating the website, or blog, yourself, without having to worry, about all the coding languages used to create the system, and layout.

Why Free Templates, Just Don’t Work !!!

Yes, there are millions of website templates available on the Internet, but who would you trust, to design your website template, and why?

There are a lot of people that still believe in downloading, and installing free templates, for their websites, or blogs. They don’t know what is packaged in the template, but they still go ahead, download it to their personal computer, and then upload it to their company website.

You just need to step back for a minute, and think about the amount of risk you are talking, by downloading something to your work computer, and then uploading it to your company website, or business server.

Who knows what the developer has packaged inside of that template folder. It’s quite scary, when you think about it. I’m not the best designer, or developer in the world, but anyone could design a basic, Visual Basic Script, or ( .vbs ), file, that could cause havoc on your, Windows based computer.

Then you still run the risk, of uploading this package, to your website, or domain. You might as well open the doors to hackers, and give them there own key, to make themselves at home.

If you are a designer, or developer, stick to the coding languages that you know, and if you don’t know the language used, rather keep that coding to a minimum, or maybe try do, what you are doing, in another language, that you at least understand.

The easy way, is not always the best way. Don’t be afraid of a little hard work. Quality, is in the detail. If you don’t understand a coding language, you need to work on your skills. I don’t think its possible to understand every coding language out there, but at least try to understand the basics, and always look at improving on your skills, on a daily basis.
